Rayon and Viscose

Rayon VS Viscose:

There is little difference between Viscose and Rayon. Rayon’s raw materials can be either bamboo or wood cellulose, Viscose is derived from wood cellulose and plant fibres, which are made into a viscous liquid that then undergo a series of chemical processes to turn into fabric.

Washing Rayon:

Wash it in cold water on the delicate cycle with a low spin cycle. It’s best not to machine-dry a rayon item, as it can destroy the fabric. If you can’t avoid the dryer, keep the item in the mesh bag, and dry it on the lowest heat possible.

Washing Viscose:

Viscose weakens when wet, so it’s best to hand wash viscose with cold water and a delicate detergent. Soak viscose for no longer than 30 minutes. Rinse, press out water instead of wringing, and air dry.

Notes:

We advise you follow the care instructions that are sewn into the side of each garment.
