Wear & Care
Cotton
The Fabric:
Cotton fabric is a type of natural cloth created out of the cotton plant fibres. Coming in a wide range of weaves, it is the most versatile and popular fabric in the world. Cotton is a great option for sensitive skin, it is hypoallergenic – soft on the skin and not irritating. Cotton is as easy to care for as it is comfortable.
Washing:
Clothing made of 100% cotton is machine washable, and generally cotton garments are also able to be dry cleaned. It is safe to bleach cotton garments if white. Cooler water temperatures will help prevent bright or darker colours from fading.
Drying:
Cottons can be machine dried, however over drying can cause shrinking. We suggest clothes line drying cottons – this will extend your clothes life.
Notes:
Natural fibres and fabrics like cotton, don’t hold onto their smell like synthetic counterparts.
We advise you follow the care instructions that are sewn into the side of each garment.
